Sofia Vergara has officially joined the fan club of one very polarizing denim trend: flare jeans. Stepping out in Paris for the French leg of her summer vacation in Europe, the Modern Family actress modeled a black lace corset top on Instagram with a pair of nostalgia-inducing jeans that had just the right amount of flare.
Vergara was joined in the next slide by Anastasia Soare, founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills, and friend Katya Gonzalez Ripoll. She captioned the post with a simple French flag emoji.

The return of the controversial denim trend is due at least in part to the boho chic renaissance. And while fashion enthusiasts originally predicted that skinny jeans would rule 2025, it seems that the roomier alternative has officially won this year’s popularity contest.
Vergara isn’t the only celebrity to co-sign the trend, of course. From Meghan Markle to Dolly Parton, it seems that A-listers everywhere have collectively decided to embrace the leg-lengthening look.

This isn’t the first time Vergara has embraced a divisive denim trend. It was only two months ago that the Bent actress stepped out at F1 wearing another corset top a pair of gray-wash barrel-legged jeans. Unsurprisingly, the Y2K-coded outfit turned heads, as did a similar corset look that she wore to the America’s Got Talent premiere last spring.
