The 2025 Venice Film Festival kicked off this week in Italy, marking one of the glitziest celebrity red carpet events of the year (rivaled closely by Cannes, and the rest of the awards season ceremonies). Just a few days in, there have been tons of celebrity spottings—including the likes of Cate Blanchett, Emma Stone, Julia Roberts, and now Kim Kardashian too.
The reality star and business mogul was spotted touching down at the Venice airport earlier this morning, and her plane attire was decidedly not made up of your conventional travel pieces. There were no cozy sweats or comfy athleisure here: Kardashian arrived instead in a full-on, black tie-worthy cocktail gown, ready to hit one of the festival’s splashy premieres at a moment’s notice.

The strappy, floor-length black dress—complete with an attached hood—is similar to the slinky creations that went down the Saint Laurent catwalk back in 2023, though labels like Alaïa are also known for the silhouette. While one would typically wear such a statement piece to a gala or important Hollywood bash, Kardashian simply wore it to deplane.
Can you imagine seeing her shimmy through one of those metal detectors in the sexy piece, teetering about in her stilettos? For the star, even the most mundane routines can be turned into a high-fashion moment. What will she wear, though, once she actually hits one of the Venice red carpets? The bar has been set sky-high.
