On Thursday, September 11, the 35-year-old attended the Kering Foundation’s 2025 Kering Caring For Women dinner. Though her signature bangs were intact, there wasn’t much about her look that screamed “typical” Johnson. The actress is often a style minimalist, but she turned up the drama for the evening. The vision included painting her nails a deep maroon color—a far cry from the simple pinks or milky Frenchies she typically favors.

Medium in length and filed into a soft square shape, Johnson’s nails were each colored the same deep crimson shade and finished with a glossy top coat. While some darker reds lean black, this one had a little berry brightness to it. I’d call the shade juicy, which is perfect for a late summer/early Autumn mani. It’s harvest season, after all.
