Do you ever forget Emma Roberts and Julia Roberts are related? Considering it’s been 15 years since the Scream Queens actor walked a red carpet with her iconic aunt, that would be completely fair. Of course, once you see them pose together in 2025, you’ll never need another reminder.
On September 10, the Roberts women were seen reuniting at the Simon Porte Jacquemus x Veuve Cliquot party in Central Park. In a clip shared by Vogue, the younger Roberts could be seen approaching her aunt as the Notting Hill star posed with the evening’s host. After taking a group shot with Jacquemus, the pair shared a laugh as they posed for some family portraits on their own.
Of course, the resemblance was uncanny, from their matching smiles to their auburn-red hair, which Julia wore down in loose waves and Emma styled in a messy ponytail. Julia was dressed in a chic oversized suit (her specialty) and heeled boots and a white striped tie, while Roberts wore a semi-sheer black gown with minimal jewelry. I assume Julia Roberts’ brother Eric Roberts will want a copy of the final photos, which can be seen here.
They may not pose together often but Emma was specifically inspired by her famous aunt when she went “sunrise red” for a role back in February of this year. “We love this look on Emma—it’s giving a very modern take on Julia Roberts’s hair in the ‘90s,” Emma’s hairstylist and Wella global ambassador Nikki Lee told People at the time.
Of course, the last time the duo were seen truly walking a red carpet together, they both embraced golden blonde highlights at the Los Angeles premiere of Valentine’s Day, which featured both actors in 2010. They were also photographed together at a screening of Jesus Henry Christ two years later, though they didn’t sport matching hair for the occasion.

Clearly, their family resemblance doesn’t have much to do with hair color, though the power of these two combined may convince me to go red for fall 2025. Emma Stone’s “spiced sienna hair” already got me halfway there, after all.
