Key Takeaways
- Isamaya Beauty underwent a rebrand and relaunch, with its signature shimmering eyeshadow palettes missing from the lineup.
- On Septmeber 12, the brand is finally bringing the palettes back in the form of Core 1 and Core 2.
Do you realize how often launches occur in the beauty world? Constantly. Brands are always releasing new products or updating old ones, and the sad truth of the matter is that… not all of them hit.
Some of them do, though! You can usually tell when you have a star on your hands early on, and an easy hint is when Isamaya Ffrench’s name is connected.
Three years after Isamaya Beauty originally launched, the brand promises that their new release is the most anticipated yet. (If you know, you know that’s saying something.) Ahead, discover everything you need to know about the Core 1 and Core 2 palettes, which officially launch on September 12.

The Inspiration
Isamaya Beauty’s previous shadow arrays, the Industrial Palettes, are beloved—and sold out. Instead of a simple restock, the brand decided to make them even better. (As news editor Bella Cacciatore said when Byrdie named Ffrench a favorite beauty expert back in 2023, we’re always looking to her to lead the way. This is why.)
Dubbed Core 1 and Core 2, the new palettes “revive and elevate” the Industrial Palettes with improved formulas, fresh shades, and sparkle.
Isamaya
“I’m obsessed with color development, so creating high-quality pigments is one of my favorite things to do as a makeup artist,” Ffrench explained in a press release. “It’s been amazing to see what our customers created with our first palettes. Now I want to see them take it further.”
The Palettes
Core 1 is the closest thing you’ll get to the original Industrial 1.0 palette. It features ten fan-favorite shades, plus four brand-new ones. It’s also already been worn by Cher.
Core 2, on the other hand (seriously, you have to be out of swatching room by now) brings back all 14 of Industrial 2.0’s offerings. The shades are just richer and packed with pearlescent diamond, chameleon, and borosilicate pigments.
Isamaya Beauty
Per Isamaya’s standards, both new offerings feature vegan, cruelty-free formulas. The shadows “offer holographic, multichromatic, and high-gloss effects” with intense color payoff and can be blended with your finger or a brush.
In line with Isamaya Beauty’s rebrand, the palettes’ OG BDSM-inspired packaging has been swapped out for something sleeker. The compacts are kidney-shaped with the brand’s signature chrome packaging—don’t worry, they’ll still look great on your vanity.
