Belly and Conrad will always have Cousin’s Beach, but perhaps more importantly they’ll always have Paris. That’s where they reconnected and, after a very cinematic race to the train station with Taylor Swift blaring, Belly admitted, of her own free will and accord, that she chose her first love to be her forever.
Naturally, the cast of The Summer I Turned Pretty decided to celebrate the show’s romantic finale with a screening in the city of lights. And while Belly’s bob was nowhere to be seen (it was a wig, FYI), Lola Tung looked gorgeous enough that I have no doubt believing multiple brothers would fall in love with her.

Tung’s finale premiere look was glowy as can be and perfectly fitting for a book-turned-TV heroine. Her dark eyes featured fluttery lashes and a healthy dose of top and bottom eyeliner, her brows were brushed, and both her cheeks and lips were flushed with a gorgeous petal pink shade.
For the special event, the 22-year-old got ready with makeup artist Misha Shahzada and her kit full of Chanel Eye Masks and Tilt Beauty products (including a soon-to-be-released lip product). Founded earlier this year by Aerin Glazer (she’s Tung’s age!), the brand’s mission is to redefine accessibility in the beauty space with innovative packaging and a consistent focus on ease of use and inclusion.
“Since the dress was all sparkle and shine, Lola and I decided to keep the makeup soft and fresh to balance out the whole look,” Shahzada tells Byrdie exclusively. “Since we are in Paris, Lola wanted to feel chic and timeless.”

“I got a sneak peak just for Lola— it launches in a few weeks,” she explains. “For her lashes, I used the Lashscape Mascara, working the brush into the roots to add fullness before pulling upwards to keep them fluffy and voluminous.”
The final touch was a dab of lip balm “and some powder on her T-zone.”
The Remaining Glam
The actress paired her makeup with a plunging silver dress and Frank Darling’s Pear Gumdrop Earrings. Her dark hair was worn middle parted and styled in a sleek blowout by Dana Boyer and her trusty Shark Glam setup.
