When Jennifer Aniston speaks, we listen. We watch closely, too! For the entirety of her career, America’s sweetheart has had the ability to spark a trend with a simple hair trim or nail polish color change.
All that is to say, her most recent manicure is sure to delight the adoring masses.
Jennifer Aniston’s Ruby Red Manicure
On Sunday, August 3, Aniston took to Instagram to share some love for her haircare brand Lolavie’s new Powder Perfect Dry Shampoo launch. In the new video, she digs through a full purse (can we get more “what’s in my bag content” please?) before holding up the product with her ruby red manicured hands.
The color had some major gloss to it and a little bit of variation when it came to the depth of the red shade, making each nail look even more like a precious gem. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a traditional jelly finish, but it was more sheer than creamy. It was also brighter than reds we’ve seen from the vampy mani lover in the past.

And really, a jelly polish is actually your best bet for getting a similar look. Until her nail artist shares the color they used, I think you could copy with a few coats of Manucurist’s Dark Pansy polish or Cirque Colors’ Rust.
Jennifer Aniston’s Nail Polish Tastes
Besides the rare deep, dark red manicure, Aniston is all about a neutral polish. For most of this year, she’s been rocking some variation of nude nails, from soft French tips to frosted glass finishes and milky or millennial pink shades.

Most recently, she showed off a shell pink manicure—with that same square shape she used for these rubies!—in an Instagram carousel that also showed her hanging out with her friends and dog. There were more purses present there, too.

Per usual, her hair looked great as well—it was probably that dry shampoo. Maybe I can actually write the “what’s in my bag” content myself? I spy a Smart Water and the adoration of millennials around the world. A glossy top coat must be in there somewhere, too.
