Lively’s latest appearance at a New York event is a catalog of trends that will likely shape the upcoming season. From the color of her suit to the accessories, jewelry, and the way she styled them together: her fall look contains a myriad of ideas that could be found in any style guide for this September—and her loyalties to a specific footwear has not been shaken.
We’re referring, of course, to Christian Louboutin. While the footwear brand has kept a lower profile as of late, many loyal fans have stuck with them since the red bottom shoes took the fashion world by storm in the first decade of the 2000s. This is the certainly the case with Lively, who rarely diverts from red soles for a public appearance.
On September 5, she opted for one of the season’s must-haves: suede knee-high boots, which featured striking brown buttons that run throughout the taupe design. With a platform and towering heel, they’re the perfect choice to add a sexy touch to her outfit.
Which brings us to the next fall trend Lively embraced with this look: chocolate brown. The rich neutral shade offers an alternative to the actor’s traditional suit, which features an oversized jacket and a pleated skirt that can also be worn as separates. She also livened up the two-piece with a semi-sheer jeweled mesh top that adds a sensual twist to the ensemble. Finally, her Chanel bag adds a touch of color, along with the rest of her jewels.
