It’s really has been full steam ahead for 2025, especially after fall/winter 2025 shows like Acne Studios and Isabel Marant incorporated the slim-cut denim into the mix. Additionally, with cigarette-leg jeans being prominently featured in Michael Rider’s Celine spring/summer 2026 debut, they certainly aren’t going anywhere, anytime soon.
Thanks to an influx in 2000s-inspired fashion seen on the runways the past few seasons, and a new way of shopping, where vintage and consignment platforms have increased tenfold, it truly feels like every generation is jumping in on the revival. But the real proof of any trend’s staying power is when the It girls start wearing it, and a handful have certainly been leaning into skinny jeans as of late.

Bella Hadid has been opting for slender-cut denim, like the slim skinny and baby boot, rather than the low-slung, baggy styles which have been dominating the market, as of late.
