If you love your hairstyle but still feel like something’s missing, consider color. Ouidad stylist and educator Jason Hallman has been seeing an increase in requests for red and copper tones in his curly-haired clients. “Hand-painted highlights create movement, depth, and a subtle glow, which is ideal for curly hair,” he says. Additionally, he’s been mixing low-maintenance gloss toners in copper and caramel tones for his curly clients to adjust their highlights.
