Perfect for oily sensitive skin & beginners
After finally finding a face wash, moisturizer and spf that I love I wanted to try adding in a serum to my routine. I wanted to find something to help with oil control/sebum production, pore size, and overall texture. I also wanted something that was gentle and safe for acne prone sensitive skin. After doing some research I decided that a niacinamide serum would fit my goals best. I used to use a sunscreen and face wash that both contained niacinamide already so in the past I had decided not to try it but my current routine contains no niacinamide so I figured this was a great opportunity to give it a chance. I originally had ordered the 10% version of this serum but after finding out that anything over 5% hasn’t been proven any more effective & can be more irritating I cancelled it and purchased this one instead. I’ve only used it once, and will update with long term results but my first impressions have been really great so far. The packaging is very simple and easy to use, I had zero issues with the dropper. I was worried that it would be to watery and be hard to apply/require a lot of product but two drops easily spread across my entire face and it felt very lightweight and satisfying. It felt a little hydrating and cooling as well. Once applied it wasn’t overly sticky or heavy and felt really nice on the skin. I paired it with my purito oat gel cream and at first my skin did have a very mild tacky feel to it, but not enough to be bothersome. I also felt that it would make a great base for makeup since it almost felt like it had some tack and grip to it. After about 30 minutes the tackiness completely disappeared and it felt like it had fully absorbed into my skin. I also noticed that my skin feels a little more hydrated than normal and softer. I think this is also a really great product to add a little bit of hydration to your skin without the heaviness if you have very oily skin like me and your skin can’t handle heavy moisturizers. I also felt like it calmed down some redness on my face around congested areas. I experienced no itchiness or reaction to it either. I’m hoping that with consistent use it will help with overall congestion, pore size, and texture. I’m also hoping to notice a reduction in my sebum production. I normally wake up with very oily shiny skin in the mornings so I’m curious to see if this will help with that. So far I highly recommend, especially if you’re unsure which niacinamide serum to get and you have sensitive oily skin.

Solid multi-benefit serum for texture and oiliness
I’ve tried other niacinamide serums before like The Ordinary and Inkey list ones, but I didn’t see much improvement for my hyperpigmentation. I decided to try this one because it has a lower niacinamide percentage and I can’t tolerate Vitamin C serums, but still wanted antioxidant benefits.I like how it applies, it absorbs well and leaves a hydrated glow. I’m definitely going to repurchase this because of the price, and since I introduced this to my routine, the stubborn clogged pores on my forehead have pretty much gone away. I have oily combo skin and also noticed it helps with oil reduction. I don’t have to blot as much throughout the day. It plays well with my retinol and I like the soothing benefits of the ectoin. Overall, my skin texture is super smooth, and my tone is glowy and even.

Wow, for such an affordable product, it’s marvelous! I use it as a prep before makeup, after sunscreen, and it leaves a beautiful glow on the skin. I don’t feel a huge difference in my pores, but it definitely leaves that luminosity on the skin.

Works for sensitive skin and I noticed a difference!
Okay, I have sensitive skin, and I am always very nervous to try new products. I incorporated this product, along with another new product, into my routine (I know I know, big no-no), but I did it anyway. After about two weeks of use, I have noticed a HUGE difference in the visibility of my pores and skin texture. I use it 2x a day with a hyaluronic acid serum and follow with the medicube triple collagen cream. I am also on tretinoin and haven’t had any issues. It quickly absorbs, does not pill, and is great under makeup. I love the feeling of it and its SOO effective! I highly recommend giving it a shot.
