I LOVE THIS
For background, I do not have sensitive skin and my skin is used to high active ingredients. My skin did purge for about a week when I first used this product. I had small pimples (that did not fully form) on my forehead and had a lot of texture on my cheeks and then it went away! My skin is looking more and more like glass. GLOWING. NO TEXTURE. The consistency of the serum feels like water but when you put it on your face it has a tackiness to it that moisturizes the skin. This is week two and a half of me using this. It works fast. A little goes a long way. I imagine it’ll last me for 2-3 months.

Good on its own, better layered with the jelly
I added this into my routine with the Medicube jelly cream, and it layers really well.It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel sticky. I’ve been using it mostly for overall skin tone and texture, and it pairs well with the jelly since that adds hydration on top.I like that it doesn’t irritate my skin and fits easily into a simple routine.If you’re already using the jelly cream, this is an easy add-on.

My ride or die serum
Tightens my pores, clears any acne or blemishes and reduces oil without drying. It has lightened my dark sunspot/freckles on my cheekbones and helped with acne scars. And it does it pretty fast, I see a difference in texture within a week or so and hyperpigmentation fading after a month of use. Works just as well as laroche posay Mela B serum, the only difference is the medicube one does lack the hydration. It is not as gel-like and plumping like L.P. (it has a thin consistency) and I follow it with a separate hyloronic serum before my usual moisturizer. But it’s a quarter if the price, so even after adding my hyloronic acid serum (cosrx, Inkey list, the ordinary, elf, etc all have one for $10-15) it’s still totalling up to half the price. Basically, I can’t live without this serum.

Great addition for older dryer skin
I’ve not been using this long but so far I much prefer this over the pdr ( I think that’s it, the opaque one). It’s super lightweight not sticky at all, I’ve had no skin irritation. Skincare isn’t a 1 style fits all & this helps address my older, dryer skin without weighing it down or feeling greasy. I’d say my skin has brightened some, although it’s been minimal so far, but at 57, I’ll take it! And of course it’s the quality you expect from medicube.

kind of freakishly good — overnight results (and I never believe that kind of hype)
I’m actually a little weirded out by this product. I’m 55 years old & have used, believe me, a shocking array of skincare products in my life. The whole idea that anything makes a difference overnight is usually absurd. I’ve used this serum three times & the glow & the evenness is already noticeable.Apparently 15% niacinamide is a fairly strong formula & I definitely feel a warmth & tingle (pleasant) but it’s not impossible to imagine that someone w/ sensitive skin might react less positively.But I’m actually amazed. Enough to buy several more bottles — for myself & for stocking stuffers for my daughters.Try it!

Actually works
I really like this product. I have been using it for a couple weeks (like a few times a week) and I am seeing my melama on my face fading already! My overall skintone is evening out. The product absorbs quickly and works well under makeup. I have experienced no stinging or irritation and and notice no smell. The price is great for how good a product this is. Highly recommend.

This serum has a very lightweight, watery consistency that spreads easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. It doesn’t leave any sticky or heavy feeling afterward, which makes it comfortable to layer with other skincare products.Compared to the Anua TXA serum, I personally prefer Medicube’s formula. The Anua version feels thicker and slightly sticky on my skin, while the Medicube serum feels much lighter and sinks in almost immediately. Because of this, it works well both in the morning and at night without making the skin feel coated.Overall, it’s a pleasant serum to use if you like hydrating, fast-absorbing formulas that don’t leave residue on the skin.
