Due to being on blood thinners, my very long (used to be) super thick hair started shedding unbelievably bad. Every time I brushed my hair I wanted to cry. In my hair brush, in the shower, just getting up out of bed, I would find clumps of hair. I’d only been on the blood thinners for about 2 months when I realized I was getting a bald spot on the top of my head. Being a very curvy woman one of the only things I like about myself has been my hair. So, seeing it everywhere except on my head was really starting to get to me. The nurse at my clinic recommended I start taking vital protein and she also recommended I start rogaine, telling me to buy the men’s because it’s cheaper and works better. Which I find insane because the very first thing it says on the box is ‘do not use if you’re a woman’. About the same time I started seeing the ads for the Neutrogena hair restore line on tick tock. And I thought ‘hey what the heck! The advertisement says you can get it at Walmart. It is unbelievably hard to get from Walmart! Two different times I put in the order for delivery, because it’s not in my local stores, and every single time something went bad with the delivery. So, I finally ordered it from Amazon. It did take almost 2 weeks to get, but I did finally get my shampoo and conditioner and the serum. I’ve been using it all for about 2 months now and my hair loss has improved drastically. Now I’m sure it also has to do with the vital protein. But I have to say I love how my hair feels using the shampoo & conditioner. I will say it takes a lot of the shampoo. Each time I wash my hair I try to saturate my scalp very good with it and get good sudsy scrub going. Of course, it takes a lot less conditioner because I just do the last few inches of my hair. After using it my hair feels so clean- my scalp feels light and doesn’t feel greasy or oily. I always let my hair air dry and then I brush it. But just leaving it to air dry it looks gorgeous. And brushing it out I barely get any hair loss anymore. I highly recommend using this product and I will continue to use it even once I’m off the blood thinners. (Which I still have a few months to go.) I also recommend taking some kind of vital protein with collagen because I believe that has helped a lot too.

I lost so much hair after using a GLP-1. My hair felt so good after using this shampoo and conditioner. My scalp felt especially clean and not as dry ( I tend to have dandruff).I do t know if it’s going to grow new hair but it certainly will keep what I have healthy.

My hair felt dry and unmanagable after using this.
In the first place, you are supposed to apply this to the bottom portion of your hair. For me, that is not an easy step. My hair has always been on the dry side. I have always had to use a conditioner that left my hair feeling soft and silky. Without these types of conditioners, my hair would feel dry and not be able to be combed through easily. My hair would feel damaged (like it most likely is!).This particular conditioner leaves my hair with all of the negative points I just listed. Without adding regular conditioner to go along with this one, I am not able to smoothly comb my hair. That is VERY frustrating, and I feel, unnecessary. I tried using it as directed. My hair felt awful, and it looked and felt damaged. This conditioner is not for my hair.
