Fresh and Clean Skin
If you were looking for Basis Face Wash and you landed here, then you’ve come to the right place. The company that used to make Basis Face Wash no longer produces it, so that product is no longer available on Amazon (or anywhere else). Simple Refreshing Facial Wash is great for oily skin, combination skin, and sensitive skin. The fragrance is very mild and it leaves your skin feeling, hydrated, fresh and clean. Plus it has similar ingredients to the Basis Face Wash. Definitely worth trying out.

Refreshing Feel
I was using Badis but the company stopped making it. I tried Simple & found it to be very refreshing on my skin & I do love it!! I do wish they made the size bigger but the price is good. There’s no after smell, it’s not sticky & it cleans my face well. I purchased 3 tubes for $15.00, well worth the price. I do recommend it, you will not regret it!!

Gentle Cleanse
I like the fact that this soap isnt actually soap, it leaves a fresh clean feel. I dont feel like using this soap alone cleans too well, but i use it with a clarisonic and it does an amazing job with the tool. Also has a bit of a slimey feel which im not too fond of.Overall good product and gentle on face

My number one repurchase. I am someone who cannot tolerate CeraVe products (they burn my face, who knows why) so I’m always glad to have a gentle cleanser I know won’t irritate my skin.

My HG facewash
I am a skin care addict and spent a lot of time looking for cleansers. This brand rocks! I have relatively normal skin, and am looking for a gentle option that does the job of cleansing while maintaining moisture barrier.I tried oil cleansing which was indeed moisturizing but always broke me out no-matter the technique/blend. I tried cream cleansers and the standard “cerave” and cetaphil brands. This cleanser gets *all* my makeup and dirt off. If I wipe after with a micellar water cotton wipe, it comes up clean. None of the other cleansers did that for me, except the ones that left my face feeling stripped. This leaves my face feeling fresh, but never stripped/dry. Definitely not as good for your moisture as a cream cleanser, but again, those always seem to break me out (presumably because they aren’t actually cleansing). My husband also loves this cleanser and it has really cleared up his acne.

Good, but…
First the good part: My super sensitive skin didn’t break out. Yea! It can be purchased on Amazon. Yea! It can be purchased in multiples. Yea!However: I don’t like the gelatin base and the suggested way to use it – wet skin and apply, slather and rinse (my words). My habit is to use a wash cloth. I absolutely hate to splash water all over my self, the mirror, etc., and the slimy feel is yuck. BUT it is just fine as a way to clean my face. So the jury is really still out as old habits die hard. (My old product that I have been using for 45+ years has been discontinued.)
