Nourishing paste with the best aroma!
I love MAREE products! As usual, the presentation is flawless with beautiful packaging. I also love the scent of this batana oil deep conditioning hair paste—it smells like a mix of coffee and caramel to me! There are 3 options for use printed on the box and I have tested “#3 For Scalp Care” and “#2 For Damaged Hair” with varied results. The paste is thick and quite sticky—it doesn’t melt well on palms without a bit of patience—making it difficult to get through dry hair to the scalp, so I only tried option #3 once though I may try it on damp hair in the future. It is easier to spread on hair for the 2nd method and I am able to run a comb through it to distribute it evenly. It only requires once shampooing to rinse out unlike other hair oils I have used, so that is a plus. My hair is fine and curly and it feels nourished and soft after using this on my midlengths, but I wish the scent lasted past the shampoo stage because it is wonderful. At $9.99 (when ordered), it is well worth a try if you’re looking for a nurturing hair product.

Hair is silky smooth and very healthy. Dead ends have been minimized and hair now shines. Hair growth will happen over time due to no breakage.

Terrible product
This stuff is awful! You have to heat it up or it’s like you’re putting wax in your hair. Even after heating it up and applying to your hair, guess what? It cools and becomes like wax! Do you know how difficult it is to get wax out of your hair? Very. To top it off, the scent is also awful. Maybe others had better luck but I really can’t imagine how?! I followed directions to a T and still had a nightmare getting this crap rinsed out of my hair.

It leaves hair feeling soft, coated, and healthier-looking, especially on dry or damaged ends.The batana oil focus gives it that heavier, repair-style feel—great for moisture and shine, but it’s not lightweight. You’ll want to use it sparingly or as a treatment rather than an everyday product, depending on your hair type.As for growth, nothing dramatic or immediate—it’s more about supporting healthier hair over time by reducing breakage.It works well if your goal is repair and thickness appearance, just not a miracle growth fix.
