Visible changes, works in 2-3 weeks
I have to say it really works. I have used this serum with shampoo and conditioner for a month now, my hair does look thicker and there are some new hair show up on the hairline. I like the pen design which is very easy to use and amount out at every click is just right, no dripping and enough to cover the area. I also like the scent of the shampoo and conditioner too. Will buy again!

Applicator doesn’t work
Not sure about the serum because it sprays out when you click the button instead of drops. And a lot of the time nothing comes out or the button sticks. Cheap plastic applicator. Wish it was just a dropper.

The good and the bad
-Dries without literally any residue at all. I’ve never had a scalp serum not make my hair oily or powdery, so this is amazing.-May be giving me acne. It’s hard to tell, because I’ve made another change and the weather has changed, but I now have acne on my eyebrows and hairline. I will edit this after I am able to confirm or deny.-Packaging is not great, but not intollerable to use like some of the reviews I had seen before purchasing. The button frequently malfunction, and you cannot easily control the volume released. This is especially difficult when you are applying it to the back of your scalp, because the serum is so lightweight, you just have to guess how much comes out. I was unable to open it to transfer to a dropper bottle. Hopefully they change it ASAP!

The jury is still out on whether it works for regrowing edges.
I recently purchased OGX ProGrowth + Peptide Scalp Serum as a last attempt to help grow my edges back. I’ve only had it for about a week and have used it twice so far, so I know it’s still very early.At this point, I haven’t noticed any visible difference yet. The serum itself feels lightweight on my scalp and doesn’t leave a heavy buildup, which I appreciate. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t have an overpowering scent.Around the same time, I also started taking MaryRuth Liquid Multivitamin + Hair Growth, and I’ve been much more consistent with the liquid vitamins than with the scalp serum. Because of that, I can’t really say which product may end up making the difference.For now, no changes — but it’s only been a week and just two uses. I plan to stay consistent with the scalp serum and will update in about a month with more meaningful results.
