I bought this because I have been using the yellow jar. It is really good for my hair. The purple jar I thought it was for white hair but it is not. The content is also yellow.

Excellent in Only a Minute
I see from rereading the product description that you are to apply this hair mask throughout your damp hair and then wait 5-7 minutes for it to do its thing. This instruction is not mentioned on the jar, by the way, so off I went to the shower without knowing exactly what to do. I washed my hair, applied this very nice, thick, and good-smelling mask to it, massaged it in well, then rinsed it out after about a minute. (Five to seven minutes, you say? Ain’t nobody got time for that!)I was pleasantly surprised when, after my hair finished drying, there weren’t any flyaways or fuzzy bits at all! Normally I have to apply a moisturizing cream or mousse to tame down the terrible dry frizzies I get from using regular conditioner, so this made me very happy. This mask will be added to my normal hair care routine for sure, but there’s no way I’m gonna spend more than a minute. Don’t need to!

Nice Mask but the Scent Overpowers
I live in a high humidity state and frizz is a constant battle, so I was eager to try this collagen hair mask. The cream itself is very thick and luxurious, and the initial scent is pleasant, if strong. I usually apply masks from mid-length to ends, letting it sit while I finish my shower routine. After rinsing and air drying, my hair felt soft, which is expected with most masks, but the frizz stubbornly remained.The real issue for me was the scent. It seems to intensify as the day goes on, and it became so strong it gave me a headache. I ended up wishing I had washed my hair again before bed. If you are not sensitive to strong fragrances, this mask delivers decent softness and hydration, but for those of us with scent sensitivities, it is a bit overwhelming. Overall, a solid mask with some quirks.
