Solid mirror, the 40x side is actually useful
I’ve had this for a few weeks and it’s earned a permanent spot on my bathroom counter. The 1x side is fine for regular makeup, but the 40x is what makes it worth it — great for tweezing, applying individual lashes, and generally seeing what you’re doing. Fair warning: you have to stay within 2–3 inches of the 40x side or the image flips and goes blurry. Took me a minute to figure that out.The three light settings (cool, natural, warm) are genuinely handy for checking how makeup will look in different lighting. Dimmer works smoothly. Build feels sturdy for the price, it folds flat, and the 360° rotation is solid.

Good mirror but otherwise garbage
Magnification is fabulous but it’s top heavy so I can’t use it as high as I want and I have to crouch which is uncomfortable. It does fold up nice for traveling. Spend a little more money and get one that has a metal type stand. Oh and now I see that the plastic frame has chipped.

Wobbly base is annoying
The mirror magnifies perfectly, and I love the different light settings. My biggest gripe is this: if I even lightly graze the mirror with my hand, it shakes uncontrollably. The base is not steady at all, and even the tiniest movement when using magnification to this degree makes it unusable for a few seconds. So I find myself frequently steadying the mirror and waiting for it to stop trembling before I can continue. Annoying, but not worthless.
