I’m not sure how this would be with makeup but we love it for applying sunscreen. We’ve used it all summer and it is the only way my kids tolerate getting sunscreen put on their faces. I’ve always wanted to try these things out. I was not going spend a bunch of money Artis brushes. I’m not a makeup artist so I don’t need a pro set of tools. I figured I would try the foundation brush first. I found this one that was not expensive. I liked the rose gold look of it. The brush head is dense and soft. It does not abrade the skin and applies foundation quite well. I was happy with the application. The brush cleans well.Why it only gets a 3-star review. It feels flimsy when you are using it. I was scared it might snap in two while I was using it. I ended up having to hold the brush by the brush head. I did not like having to do that. I will buy other but I think I will go for the sturdier ones that are all plastic.
