Cute and effective powder puff!!!
This powder puff works so good! It just picks up the perfect amount of powder so that you don’t have a ton on your face, and then it helps to blend the powder out evenly by the way the puff material is cut.How I use it is I tap the puff in some loose powder and then I tap this onto my hand, blending the powder into the puff, ensuring that the powder is not a blob on one spot of the puff. Then, after I take sure I have blended any creases out, I set my makeup with the puff by tapping with the puff, adding powder by repeating the above steps! Makes my base look flawless!

Before I get into the review, I want to point out something rather important about these Animal series powder puffs & make sponges from Momo’s Workshop. Not ALL of them have ONE sponge & ONE powder puff. I chose option D, the adorable gray koala bears & it DOES have ONE powder puff & ONE make-up sponge. On the other hand, Option B, the Black cats*, does NOT have one of each. They are BOTH powder puffs, with 2 different lengths of plush. If you scroll further down on the Momo’s Description Page, you can see what I’m talking about. I’m mentioning this because I read another review from someone who was puzzled because they thought they were getting one of each & felt that one of them wouldn’t be appropriate for makeup application. I think I understand how this misunderstanding occurred. To know what you’re getting with EACH animal choice, you need to click on THAT option & then the title will adjust to correspond with that option. This isn’t a “one title fits all’ product. *Momo’s Workshop DOES have a Black cat makeup (foundation/blush) sponge set for sale here on Amazon. The difference is that those cats have a single ear design that allows you to get foundation or concealer right up into the under-eye triangle, sides of your nose, & the corners of your mouth. They have the same “Rubycell” sponge material as the ones in THIS series. This pair of a powder puff & a makeup sponge would get a 5 Star rating from me for the cuteness factor alone. They come in a white container with a clear panel on one side, out of which the animal of your choice peeks out at you, & on the other side there are holes for air to circulate so your sponge, if you chose one, can be dried & stored at once, after being cleaned. As you can see from the photos, these sponges & puffs don’t have a pointy side to get in close to the sides of the under-eye area or the sides of nostrils – you can come close if the sponge is held at an angle but it’s not absolutely ideal. However, as mentioned earlier, Momo’s Workshop does sell some sponges, with the same 5 Star cuteness factor, with a pointy side, they’re just not part of this collection. I don’t think these are meant for make-up artists or people who need to take their makeup seriously. I think their appeal lies mostly, as I’ve said, in their cuteness factor, which I found irresistible, but they’re thoughtfully designed, decent in quality, & I appreciate the consideration dedicated to the design of containers that they come in. They also will make amazing gifts especially with Christmas making its appearance in just a few months. Hope this was helpful in some way – good luck with your choice/s!

Pour ma part, j’ai fait venir ce produit pour mettre de la poudre à bébé sur mes enfants, non pas pour le maquillage. Je tenais à le préciser. Je tiens aussi à préciser que nous avons commandés la couleur B (qui est plutôt le style de chat avec de grands yeux)Alors, je dois avouer quelque chose, il est noté dans le titre une double face non absorbante, mais le matériel est de genre fourrure qui absorbe l’eau… Je veux bien que le fond de teint liquide et l’eau sont différents, mais le fond de teint liquide ne risque-il pas d’être absorbé, exactement comme l’eau ? Ne m’y connaissant pas vraiment en maquillage, je tenais malgré tout à faire part de ce détail. Pour de la poudre de bébé, il est efficace en revanche, donc j’imagine que cela va aussi pour le maquillage en poudre ! Peut-être que le terme ‘’fond de teint liquide’’ est une simple erreur de traduction français/anglais ou une erreur lors de l’affichage du produit. L’une des éponges de maquillage est d’une fourrure plus longue, tandis que l’autre est très courte, peut-être que les personnes ayant plus de connaissance en maquillage pourront d’avantage savoir quelle est la différence durant l’application entre celles-ci.Mignon, très doux sur la peau, la conception me semble solide, très robuste ! Pour ma part, j’aime beaucoup ! Je n’ai rien à critiquer concernant ce produit. Les éponges de maquillage viennent dans une petite boîte en plastique, parfait pour les conservés correctement à l’abri !

SOOOO CUTE! I got the yellow duck? ones and they are adorbs. It comes with it’s only plastic holder that has air holes so they just sit on my counter giving the side eye. It’s hilarious.There are two sponges. One uses the same rubycell technology that was made popular with the k-beauty cushion foundations and the other is a soft, fluffy velvet one for powders. The sponge one has a soft backing, I think I read somewhere that it was leather but I can’t find that in the description anymore. Anyways, I can fit three fingers easily through the strap and the sponge is easy to use and apply foundation or bb cream. Personally, I’m not too fond of the fluffy puff as it doesn’t do a good job of evenly applying powders and it does not wash as easily either. But, it’ looks cute.
