For her latest date night with boyfriend Jacob Elordi, Kendall Jenner was seen in London wearing a cobalt blue button-down shirt with cuffed sleeves as a colorful outer layer to an otherwise neutral outfit. The bright primary hue has been bubbling up across the fashion industry for months now, and is well-positioned to take over as a major fall color trend. Back in September of 2025, designers across various cities — including Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, and Versace — significantly featured the shade in their Spring 2026 collections, but Jenner is proving the tone’s autumnal staying power.
Jenner used the cobalt button-down as the centerpiece of her minimalist look: a white T-shirt and black wide-leg pants. The casual formula was also reminiscent of street style looks from actor and Kardashian superfan Jennifer Lawrence, who’s used the same layering system when off-duty with her family and at sporting events over the years. Jenner dressed up her simple outfit with black pointed-toe pumps, a thin watch, and Thistles’ round black Cruz sunglasses.
A burgundy Maxi Flap bag from Chanel’s Spring 2026 collection brought a contrasting pop of color to the 818 founder’s full getup. It also made Jenner the latest celebrity to sport the oversized messenger style, which is a favorite of Dua Lipa, Margot Robbie, and Sarah Pidgeon, too. Meanwhile, Elordi sported an equally relaxed white T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a green nylon jacket with his own pair of sunglasses, creating a coordinating couples’ moment.
