Naturally, a few familiar colors are sticking around. Red continues to reign, appearing everywhere from bright turtlenecks by brands like Celine and Lii to bold red dresses. Royal purple is hanging around for a while: We saw the hue appear at Celine, Loewe, Mugler, Tory Burch, and Balenciaga. Cobalt blue is back in electric form, worn in monochromatic looks or styled with neutrals; Givenchy paired it with navy and Jil Sander with gray.
More unexpected are the season’s peachy and melon shades, a juicy mix of pink and orange seen across Tory Burch knits and corduroys, Chanel embellished dresses, and Miu Miu minis. Elsewhere, turquoise, typically reserved for summer, slips into fall, while burgundy returns as the ultimate cold-weather classic: rich, sophisticated, and, like a good wine, only getting better with time.
