If there’s one thing you should know about Vogue October cover star Dakota Johnson, it’s that she loves limes. She loves to prominently display them in her kitchen like little green works of art. And she’s definitely not allergic to them.

Lucky for fans of Johnson’s home styling, the actor gave us a glimpse at some of her other favorite belongings in a new video for Vogue’s Objects of Affection series. For example: her antique, “spiritually evolved” door, which refuses entry to people with bad energy. (“I guess it doesn’t like yours,” Johnson tells the film crew when the door won’t open. “Just speak kindly to the door on your way in,” she warns.)

“When I was designing this house, I really wanted to feel nothing,” Johnson says in the video. Call it generic chic. Showing us the kitchen, Johnson gives a glimpse into her bountiful garden haul: a droopy carrot. On the fridge is an early work from one of the masters: a crayon drawing by her friend’s kid, Pam. “What a talent,” Johnson says.

Stepping into her office (which, yes, technically is a bathroom), the star of the upcoming film Verity shows us how she does her affirmations in the mirror. “You are good at math,” she intones—then gives herself a little kiss, because why not?

But of course, with Johnson, nothing is as it seems. And in case you missed it, this is all a joke (and not Johnson’s actual house). For the inside scoop on Johnson’s real home—she has moved into a new place since her viral AD house tour years ago and genuinely is “obsessed with interior design,” she told writer Alessandra Codinha—check out Vogue’s October cover story here.
