I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw Paris Hilton at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The singer stepped onto the red carpet sporting one of the hottest hairstyles of 2026: the blunt bob. It’s a radical hairstyle change for the reality star, whose Hollywood waves and vanilla-blonde hair have been part of her signature look for years.
Now, Paris Hilton gone for a totally new look that we haven’t really seen on her before. She’s done short hair in the past, of course, but nothing so clean cut and blunt as her bob at the 2026 MTV VMAs. The trendy blunt bob is characterized by its clean, straight cut without layers. The precise contour creates a modern, striking look and gives the hair structure and character. With this cut, all the hair ends at exactly the same length. No layers, no thinning—everything is deliberately angular and straight.

Paris Hilton paired the cut with a radiant platinum blonde color that really emphasized the extreme bob to give it an even more striking look. For the rest of her glam, Hilton went with bold eye makeup and glossy nude lips.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Hilton with a dramatic new hairstyle, of course. At this year’s Grammys, she did a major chop within 24 hours. The reality star appeared at a pre-Grammys even with long hair, which she then cut into a super elegant long bob before the award show’s red carpet. Hilton kept her side part, but blow-dried the hair into a rounded shape and made sure the ends were flipped outward (a.k.a. a “flipped bob”). Super chic, and definitely one of the most popular short haircuts of 2026 for a reason! Leave it to Hilton to always inspire me ahead of my next haircut.
