We’ve swooned over Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights, girded our loins for The Devil Wears Prada 2, and now it’s time to shift into Jane Austen mode for the Vogue Book Club’s upcoming screening of the new Sense and Sensibility.
Austen’s debut novel, which was first published anonymously in 1811, delves deep into the romantic entanglements (or, dare we say it, Georgian-era situationships?) of the Dashwood sisters after their father’s death. Vogue’s special advance screening of Georgia Oakley’s new adaptation will take place on October 14 in New York, and include both a showing of the film and a live taping of The Run-Through podcast, featuring Vogue US’s head of editorial content, Chloe Malle, and Sense and Sensibility star Daisy Edgar-Jones.
