About 48 hours ago in Paris, Julian Klausner presented his spring 2027 Dries Van Noten ready-to-wear collection, which is already being praised as one of his best to date. For this Friday’s episode of The Run-Through, Nicole meets Klausner in the Vogue France offices to discuss the inspiration behind the show, his journey to Dries, and his industry peers.
“Yesterday, a friend of mine said that she saw it as ‘movie star meets picking up the kids,’” Kausner says, descibing the sensibility of the latest Dries collection. “I like to imagine what Marilyn Monroe would be looking like today if she had to run errands after a day of filming.”
