“We definitely bonded over family traditions and the time we spend with friends that feel like family,” Alexa says. “We fell in love ‘down the shore,’ as the shoobies call it, and it was easy to fall in love with him.”
Five years later, George proposed–on the very same dock where they first locked eyes. He always knew he would propose to her there. “The house carries generations of Robinson love stories,” he says. “My grandparents bought it in 1966, my parents met and got engaged there, and it’s where I met Alexa. There was never really another option.”
They were married on March 28, 2026, at The Breakers Palm Beach, working with planner Gabrielle Jaworskyj to bring their vision to life. “We picked locations where we’ve created memories with friends and family in the past,” George shares of choosing Palm Beach. “My grandparents moved to Palm Beach in the 1980s, and my parents followed in 2015. Over the course of our relationship, Palm Beach quietly became one of our favorite places. There were brunches at The Colony, afternoons grabbing a drink at the Breakers’ seafood bar, Easter dinners at Café Boulud, after-dinner drinks at HMF, and late nights at Cucina.”
Alexa worked with stylist Britt Theodora on her bridal fashion. Early on, Emilia Wickstead was on the bride’s radar for her ceremony gown. “I admire the crisp British tailoring and how her gowns are timeless, yet sculptural. My gown was from Emilia’s first bridal collection, but I couldn’t get over the godet skirt. It felt polished and formal, but still easy and unfussy,” Alexa says. “I flew to Miami, where I fell in love with the gown at Ever After, and then had the privilege of working directly with Emilia’s atelier in London.” Alexa paired it with a custom veil from the designer and six-inch Aquazzura platform heels (“I’m only 5 feet tall,” she says).
