The Diplomat star turned heads as she graced the purple carpet at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theatre last night. Janney looked radiant in a daring, asymmetrical tuxedo-dress. The centerpiece featured dramatic satin lapels, a plunging neckline, a double-breasted design, and a floor-grazing skirt on one side that left much of her legs completely exposed. In fact, the itty-bitty hemline revealed the actress’s high-cut black bodysuit layered underneath.
The 65-year-old complimented the look with sheer black tights, matching pointed-toe stiletto heels, a small bedazzled black clutch, layers of shiny silver necklaces, and silver stud earrings.

As for beauty, the Mom star styled her golden-blonde, chin-grazing bob down and sleek with a side-part. She glammed up with dewy makeup, complete with rosy cheeks, a glossy berry-pink lip, fluttery eyelashes, radiant highlighter, and a pearl-hued manicure.
Janney’s ensemble is quite the contrast from the full gowns fans have come to know her by. Just last month, she stepped out at the Tribeca Film Festival in such a look, donning a deep-blue dress that featured a velvet, off-the-shoulder bodice and long long column skirt. Then, she paired the piece with a dainty silver watch, glittery statement ring, gold statement earrings, small boxy clutch, and black pointed-toe heels.
