Selena Gomez might be staying mum on the date of her highly-anticipated wedding to Benny Blanco, but she’s giving fans a glimpse of what her star-studded guest list can expect at the ceremony. While sharing a series of undated TikTok video on Saturday, July 26, the “Calm Down” singer shared rare comments about her upcoming nuptials and the unconventional wedding ceremony additions she’s planning to incorporate.
Amid rumors that Gomez and Blanco are planning to wed in a two-day Montecito ceremony in September, the beauty maven played coy as she opened up about what her big day will look like—and the classic wedding tradition she plans to skip.

“Whenever that day comes, I do know I don’t want a big cake,” the Only Murders in the Building actress told fans in an intimate video shared to her Rare Beauty account. Instead, the multi-hyphenate revealed she was planning something more personal for her and her music producer beau. “I think I’d want a mini one, for just us, that we can freeze,” she explained.

Instead of cake, Gomez plans to treat her guests to something not-so-sweet post-meal. “My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy,” she shared about her unusual dessert choice. “My Nana’s biscuits and gravy. That sounds like dessert to me.”

The former Disney star—who got engaged to Blanco during a Taco Bell picnic in December—has kept most of the details of her wedding under wraps, but she previously revealed that she wants one of her Only Murders in the Building co-stars to have a special role in the celebration.
“Marty [Martin Short] is due to give a speech. I told him he must,” she said during a March episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “I feel like Marty would have an epic speech,” she added, also noting that co-star Steve Martin would “probably pull out his banjo” during the festivities.
