If you’re anything like me, the only thing you have planned for your weekend is binge-watching the final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty on Netflix. I, for one, have been desperate to see how the “will she or won’t she” love triangle between Belly, played by Lola Tung, and the Fisher brothers finally comes to a conclusion. Although the romance and intrigue take center stage for Tung’s character onscreen, her recent street style has garnered plenty of attention in real life.

On July 17, the actor was seen heading to the Today studios to dish on all things TSITP-related, wearing a stylish outfit that was quite a departure from the cutesy, twee costumes she wears on screen. For the occasion, stylist Britt McCamey dressed Tung in a vintage Stella McCartney double-breasted denim military jacket with a high collar, puffed sleeves, and silver buttons. She paired it with a matching fitted denim pencil skirt that hit just above the knee.

Tung’s denim ensemble was the perfect mix of sleek NYC sophistication and unexpected flair, but what really sealed the deal were her Carrie Bradshaw-coded accessories. She carried not one but two Kate Spade bags (because more is always more for a girl on the go) and a pair of pointy-toed glossy leopard heels. Her black Duo Bag can be carried in four different ways, and the Liv Shoulder bag in leopard cotton canvas features smooth leather trim.

What made Carrie Bradshaw’s style so iconic was that you never really knew what kind of magpie mix she would wear.
