Nicole Kidman is going back to her roots…literally. The actress shared a behind-the-scenes look at Practical Magic 2, in which she noticeably rocks her natural red hair.
“The witches are back ✨ Owens sisters’ first day on set! #PracticalMagic,” Kidman captioned a clip posted to her Instagram.
Appearing alongside her co-star Sandra Bullock, Kidman wears a low ponytail with bangs and burgundy lace dress.
“Redhead nicole kidman will ALWAYS make me happy no matter what,” one user commented.

While Kidman is a natural redhead, she’s favored a strawberry blonde shade in recent years.
In June, the Moulin Rouge! star celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with husband Keith Urban. Kidman shared a black-and-white photo of the two of them to her Instagram account, writing, “Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban.”
Urban responded with his own red heart emoji in the comments.
Kidman and the country singer, who first met in 2005, have two daughters together: Sunday and Faith, born in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Kidman has two other children, Bella and Connor, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.

Last month, the actress also celebrated her 58th birthday with Urban, attending a FIFA Club World Cup 2025 game in Nashville. They spectated a soccer match between the Los Angeles Football Club and Tunisia’s Esperance de Tunis.
Kidman’s sleeveless white sundress featured a floral pattern and a boat neckline. Urban, meanwhile, kept it casual in a plaid flannel shirt and ripped jeans.
