While you can’t go wrong with either, more and more nail artists are pulling out their fine line brushes and catering their art to those who prefer a shorter manicure.
“There’s a huge amount of requests from the short nail lovers for more art these days,” says Morgan Dixon, NOLA-based nail artist and owner of Lab & Lounge Salon. “Long nails are fun and bold, but you can also achieve the same results with short nails—you just have to know how to scale and use what you have, and 9 times out of 10 it works!”
