Loewe’s Ballet Runner was first introduced in 2019 and has remained a bestseller for the brand ever since. But over the last few years, a host of slim lace-up sneakers have appeared, drawing inspiration from ballet flats via details like a rounded toe box, silky laces, and a thin sole. The Mary Jane
The latest evolution is the arrival of a new host of sneaker-flat hybrids inspired by the Mary Jane silhouette, complete with a buckle strap over the top of the foot. Jennifer Lawrence was most recently spotted in the mostly sold-out Wales Bonner Mary Jane sneakers.
