What could be more boho-chic than suede pants? Ever since Chloé revived the ‘70s style, which exudes freedom and femininity, the fashion world has been embracing the aesthetic tenfold. We’ve seen flared jeans, romantic blouses, and platform clogs make their way to the trend cycle. Now, with fall around the corner, the suede pant is ready for its moment.
It was only a matter of time: Suede has been especially trendy in the past year. Suede sneakers in retro styles have become a closet staple, and suede jackets are currently the go-to outer layer for the fashionable set. So this fall, consider swapping your jeans and faux leather pants for suede trousers.
As for how to style the piece, look to Brigitte Bardot for inspiration. In the ’60s, the actor and style icon swore by suede pants with leather boots and knit sweaters. Or embrace the ’70s aesthetic, like Bella Hadid last year did when wearing her suede pants with a matching jacket.
