During her visit to LNSM, Jenna Ortega told the sweet story of visiting an animal shelter in Ireland, where she filmed the second season of Wednesday, because she wanted to pet a cow. While there, she spotted a family of chinchillas in need of fostering. “The chinchillas were really cute and they let us hold them, and I said, ‘Okay, I’ll be back tomorrow at five.’ I came back with a cage the next day, and he just let me take them…. I had a mother and two sons: Alma, Donald, and Basil. I raised them into strong young men,” she recalled.
This chinchilla moment was but a gateway animal obsession. Alma, Donald, and Basil went back to the sanctuary, but Ortega had spotted a pregnant dog, and when she gave birth to puppies, Ortega “knew” that the runt of the litter “needed” her. She took the puppy home permanently. “It would be better if she liked women. She’s a woman hater,” the star admitted of her pet. Specifically, she likes men who are “bald or have beards.” But how does she feel about Victorian silhouettes?
