Chambray is denim’s light, cotton-based cousin, and it had a moment about ten years ago, a moment Blunt definitely embraced: here she is in a chambray button-down in 2014; another in 2015; and a sleeveless version, too.
Emily Blunt also knows that light blue is an excellent color on her, and embraced it again at another festival event, wearing a Schiaparelli gown and Ysso jewelry, styled by Jessica Paster. Here, her waves are pressed and glossed, her face is given a bit of definition with makeup, the heels are heel-ing, the nails are nails-ing…in short, she’s got her movie star thing going on, and she looks gorgeous. Or should we say, smashing.

After the festival wraps, we assume she’ll jet back to New York City to continue filming the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. We know her character, also named Emily, appears in the film, though we won’t spoil any more than that. Remember at the end of 2023 when she said she was taking a break from acting? Thank goodness that turned out to be an exaggeration. Much like a chambray shirt, we will never let this classic icon go.
