Olivia Rodrigo has a new album and a new look to match.
The singer is ramping up promotion for her forthcoming album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, and is embracing lover girl fashion to boot. Rodrigo, who is doing double duty on SNL this weekend, joined the cast for dinner last night at Lattanzi in New York City, where she embraced her ultra-feminine style.
Rodrigo donned a sheer polka-dot midi dress replete with peasant sleeves and lace and ribbon trim. Underneath, she wore a black bra and high-rise briefs. Adding a touch of color, she accessorized with maroon heels and an east-west shoulder bag.

In the lead-up to her new record, Rodrigo has embraced ultra-feminine dresses with a little bite. Earlier this month, she celebrated the release of the album’s lead single, “drop dead,” in a pink taffeta babydoll minidress with a tulle underskirt peaking out. Though she wore schoolgirl knee socks, Rodrigo’s Miu Miu Mary-Janes offered a more adult, elevated turn. The same goes for her “drop dead” music video, where she traipsed through the halls of Versailles in slinky Chloé separates.
While Olivia Rodrigo has always embraced the polka dots and sweet dresses of it all, the you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love era looks to be packing a little punch.
