On Sunday, May 31, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner were married in a secret civil wedding in London. But the celebration, which took place at Old Marylebone Town Hall—and for which the musician bride wore custom Schiaparelli couture—was just the beginning.
On Thursday, the couple landed in Sicily, where they’re set to host what is reported to be a three-day wedding extravaganza across various venues in the Sicilian capital of Palermo. (The city is a particular favorite of the couple’s: they enjoyed a vacation there in summer 2025, trying local delicacies like ricotta-filled cannoli and posting photos in a pink Palermo football club jersey.)
Among the venues reportedly chosen for the celebrations is Villa Valguarnera, in Bagheria, in the province of Palermo. The residence was commissioned in 1712 by Anna Gravina, Princess of Gravina and Valguarnera, from the Dominican friar and architect Tommaso Maria Napoli. A disciple of Carlo Fontana and trained in the tradition of Bernini, the architect created one of the most brilliant examples of Sicilian Baroque.

Situated on a landscaped hilltop, this villa features lush gardens overlooking the region, with the gulfs of Palermo and Cefalù in its sights. Now the residence of Vittoria Alliata, Princess of Valguarnera and Villafranca, the villa is set to welcome the newlyweds and their families for the ceremony. Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Olivia Dean, and Elton John are among the guests expected to attend.
