Though she played the lonely net-wearing nymph Calypso onscreen, Charlize Theron has been channeling Odysseus lately. Long after the rest of her co-stars have completed their globe-trotting press tours, Theron continues to promote The Odyssey alongside Matt Damon and Christopher Nolan.
But the dwindling castmates and far-reaching locations won’t keep Theron from dressing to the nines. In fact, lately, she’s been upping the ante. Take the Tom Ford fall 2026 runway look she wore to a press conference in Seoul yesterday: Haider Ackermann’s American Psycho-esque striped button-up accessorized with leather gloves, polka-dot tights, and a sheer plastic skirt. Today, for the film’s Korean premiere, Theron opted for a black satin, ab-baring dress by Celine, paired with the heeled version of Michael Rider’s ultra-slim shoe du jour.
Both of these recent looks echo Theron’s press tour style: a balance between done-up glamour and understated cool. The actor has turned to Givenchy by Sarah Burton for her showstopper moments, like the black lace drop-waist dress with silver trim and a sculptural skirt she wore to the Paris premiere, or the velvet gown with a thigh-high slit and leather elbow-length gloves—in two colorways—that she donned in London. But while she’s leaned into the Hollywood glamour, Theron has also found moments of ease, like the silk Tom Ford shorts she paired with a button-up and black blazer for a photocall at the Place du Trocadéro and the drapey Lanvin jumpsuit she wore in Beijing.
Here, revisit Charlize Theron’s globe-spanning fashion odyssey, from New York to Paris to Seoul.
