A woman’s relationship to her jorts is a deeply personal one. Some are partial to the very on-trend, knee-grazing denim, while others prefer the classic Daisy Dukes. This week, Margot Robbie, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kristen Stewart all planted a flag, making their personal jorts affinities known.
Robbie, for her part, stayed true to itty-bitty cutoffs. While out for a coffee run in Paris today, the actor looked every bit a California girl in a red-and-white-striped Frankie’s Bikinis tube top, which she paired with mid-rise, light-wash cutoffs.

Robbie wore a red strapless bandeau top with horizontal white and blue stripes, light blue high-waisted denim shorts with a frayed hem, a white baseball cap, black sunglasses and beige flat sandals, while carrying a 4 coffee cups. But some of Robbie’s contemporaries are all in on the big, baggy jorts du jour. This past weekend, Stewart, while promoting her film, The Wrong Girls, sported a pair of medium-wash cutoff jean shorts, worn low-slung across her hips and landing just above her knees. Stewart’s cutoffs weren’t the only statement-making component of her outfit: she opted for a moment of power-clashing, styling an ab-baring plaid blazer with red plaid Vans.
Lawrence, like Stewart, is also a member of Team Long Jorts. For a stroll with her family last week, the actor upped the ante, opting for a pair of cut-off denim shorts decorated with rock ‘n’ roll studded designs. Paired with a cheeky Playboy T-shirt, flip-flops, and a baseball cap, the embellished jorts elevated an otherwise relaxed look.
