Cameron Brink is the latest pick for Glamour’s new style franchise “We Like Her Look.” Each month, Glamour picks a fashion It girl whose style philosophy deserves to be studied, breaking down what makes their outfits work and how to get a similar look for yourself without feeling like a carbon copy.
“Face of the League” this, “MVP contender” that…I’m sorry, but can we just stop the sports discourse for a moment to discuss who’s holding it down in the tunnel? When it comes to fashion, so many WNBA superstars are making names for themselves off the court, but no one is doing transitional pre-fall style quite like Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink.
Although Brink could easily be confused for a Victoria’s Secret Angel, the certified shot-blocker does not rely solely on her 6’4″ frame to pull off a look. Instead, Brink and stylist Shiona Turini consistently blend masculine tailoring and feminine silhouettes to create looks worth emulating all autumn long. In fact, the 24-year-old athlete has been largely ignoring the summer heat in favor of fall power dressing since the start of the WNBA pre-season in May. (Hopefully those stadium tunnels have plenty of air conditioning!)
“I would say my style always leans very feminine but structural,” Brink told Glamour from the Aveeno x Togethxr House pop-up tunnel during last month’s All-Star Weekend in Chicago. “I love to have a nice blazer or fitted suit, something that catches the eye.”
Brink’s not just about layering dress shirts and blazers—scent layering has become a big part of her getting-ready routine, starting with Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion, which she tops off with the Lush Super Milk Body Spray or Parfums de Marly’s Delina Eau de Parfum.
