Selena Gomez could give a Ted Talk on monochrome dressing, and her latest outfit is proof.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall, Gomez knows the key to styling a single-toned look is by mixing textures. Whether she’s wearing an airy white summer dress with woven flats or a black leather trench with a crinkled patent bag, the 34-year-old singer uses this method to keeps monochrome looks from falling flat without complicating her look with excess jewelry and accessories.
Take her latest look as a prime example. On August 30, she arrived in Venice wearing three major fall 2026 trends without breaking a sweat. Dressed in head-to-toe brown shades, the star of her look was a suede midiskirt with gold horsebit details, which she paired with a nondescript turtleneck tank top. The cherry on top, however, were her slouchy square-toed boots in a sumptuous brown patent leather, which pulled the entire fall-coded look together.
