Last night’s Wild Horse Nine red carpet at Venice Film Festival was a suitably starry affair: Vittoria Ceretti, Kendall Jenner, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Jonathan Bailey, and Laura Dern among them.
Cerreti, as a face of the house, opted for an Armani Privé velvet column gown, with a sheer upper bodice covered in dark crystal embellishments that gathered around the bust. Looking closer, the top’s diaphanous fabric is scattered with teeny-tiny fabric dots. It was an elegant take on the oft-done naked dressing trend, which sparkled thanks the sea of photographer flashes. Styled by Amir Dayi, the Italian model wore a suite of jewelry—drop earrings, rings, bracelets—from Boucheron and Crivelli, and Amina Muaddi pumps.

Her hair was equally sleek, with her glossy and straight brunette hair swept into a deep side part with a thin, singular tendril of hair framing her cheek.
Armani has been well represented on the carpet; Jenner, for one, wore a delicately beaded, shimmering gold floral Armani fall 1995 gown. Sweeney chose a silvery, strappy, sheer gown from the Armani fall 2000 collection, sourced via Raffe Vintage. Bucking Fastards star Kate Mara wore a sparkling Armani Privé gown with a crystal fringed cream top and a deep neckline that featured a pearl at its empire waist and fell into an inky black skirt. Madisin Rian glistened and rustled in a striking, plunging dress with pale pink and baby blue swirling accents. On the menswear front, Bailey layered up with a tux and fringed scarf.
As Vittoria Ceretti and the rest of the Armani crowd show, unexpected finishes and shimmers make for one sophisticated evening on the lido.
