The 2026 Emmys are officially underway at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
In a departure from the standard comedian host, Law and Order: SVU star (and all-around icon) Mariska Hargitay will serve as the evening’s master of ceremonies. Even ahead of her hosting gig, this marks a special Emmys for Hargitay, who has already taken home two Emmys before the red carpet even opened. (The actor won two awards during last week’s Creative Arts Emmys for her documentary, My Mom Jayne.)
It’s sure to be a fashion-forward evening—just take a look at the nominees: Ayo Edebiri, Elle Fanning, Chase Infiniti, Hannah Einbinder, and Sarah Pidgeon are just some of the stylish stars up for awards tonight. And, of course, we can always count on Zendaya to deliver a jaw-dropping fashion moment. Given that the actor is celebrating her nomination for the final season of Euphoria, we’re sure she and stylist Law Roach have something up their sleeves.
The Emmys have a long history of legendary red carpet looks: In 2003, Sarah Jessica Parker couture-ified Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic tutu in a pink tulle Chanel confection; for the 2009 ceremony, Chloë Sevigny tapped Isaac Mizrahi to create a polka-dotted one-shoulder gown that possessed the perfect amount of her signature spunk; and in 1992, Cindy Crawford fulfilled her presenter duties in a black satin bustier and a beret.
Last year’s red carpet also offered some all-time looks, from Jenna Ortega’s Death Becomes Her-inspired chandelier top from Givenchy by Sarah Burton to Selena Gomez’s sweeping tomato-hued Louis Vuitton gown. It’s a high bar to clear, but we have faith that tonight’s attendees will certainly rise to the occasion.
Here, see all of the red carpet looks from the 2026 Emmys, and follow along throughout the night for live updates.
