Bella Hadid might be back in New York, but she isn’t quite ready to surrender the last vestiges of summer dressing.
The model was photographed leaving her sister Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence pop-up—whose recent denim campaign Bella fronted—in a satsuma-orange mini dress from Oddli, the Los Angeles label known for its mix-and-match capsules of tiny dresses, tops, short-shorts, and swimwear in seasonal limited edition shades. With its three-quarter sleeves and boat neckline, Hadid’s version felt particularly well suited to these strange in-between September days, a cream suede jacket thrown over her bag just in case.
She pushed the palette into more autumnal territory with chocolate patent Sergio Rossi kitten-heel boots (sourced by a longtime favorite vintage seller Loved By Chi) and a capacious brown Staud carryall. Her jewelry came courtesy of Chopard: a Happy Hearts bangle and the house’s Happy Sport the First watch. Hadid has served as an ambassador for Chopard since 2024 and has also been in New York promoting her latest campaign for the brand.

But the most summery element was above the neck. Hadid’s curled blonde hair was secured beneath a polka-dot bandana, worn with sporty Side Eye NYC sunglasses. The humble hair kerchief has quietly become one of summer’s star accessories, cropping up on everyone from Zendaya to Gracie Abrams. And, unlike a raffia bag or barely-there sandal, it’s an especially easy one to carry into transitional weather: tie it over tousled hair now, then add it to knits and jackets when the temperature finally drops.
