When Jennifer Lopez is in Italy, she’s in peak J.Lo form. Today, she walked the Vogue World: Milano runway (inside the famed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, no less!) in a look that could only be described as dolce vita from head to toe. See: the glossy hair, the perfectly manicured peach nails, and the ensemble by Dolce & Gabbana, a Lopez favorite.
“I’ve always responded to Dolce & Gabbana because it feels like they really love women through their clothes,” Lopez told Vogue earlier this year. “It’s always had a kind of sexiness, that Italian sexiness, to it. You think of Sophia Loren or Gina Lollobrigida—these actresses who are so legendary and who defined the Italian woman as sexy, beautiful, and strong. So, I guess when I put their clothes on, I kind of take on that persona and character.”

Today’s character was one of drama and sophistication. Earlier in the night, she walked the Vogue World Galleria carpet in a totally different (but also Dolce & Gabbana) look: A beaded black bustier gown, paired with sheer black gloves and pointy toe shoes. She had the chance to take in the show as spectator until Act III—where a model brought her up from the crowd.
It was a moment of full Federico Fellini La Dolce Vita. Under the spotlight, Lopez danced just like Sylvia did inside the Trevi Fountain.
“The look is vintage Dolce Vita fresh and the nails are matching vibes,” celebrity nail artist Tom Bachik told Vogue moments after Lopez hit the Galleria. “I used my favorite Tweezerman tools for a perfect mani, then polished Jen’s nails a High glossed Apreś peachy blush giving elegantly long fingers even beneath the gloves, so chic!”
