When most people are instructed to wear “church clothes,” they might reach for a modest skirt, cardigan, and sensible shoes. For Hailey and Justin Bieber, worship fits have always run a rather wider gamut. The couple were photographed leaving a service at Churchome at The Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills this week, looking coordinated in their muted tones.
Hailey wore a cropped, hip-length trench in sandy beige, its silky lining peeking out over a simple white T-shirt and low-rise, black silk tailored trousers. Black thong sandals, a smooth leather shoulder bag, and oval sunglasses kept things characteristically streamlined. Her newly color-refreshed hair was worn glossy, straight, and long, while her taupe manicure found its counterpart in a matching pedicure.
Justin worked from essentially the same palette through an entirely different wardrobe vocabulary. A tan suede bomber jacket topped a dark blue T-shirt and his typically baggy indigo jeans, finished with white-and-beige striped sneakers and a white beanie. It was actually a pretty lowkey and sleek look for the singer, who favors XXL silhouettes and flashes of neon.
This is where the Biebers’s approach to couples dressing works best. They rarely look as though they have actively coordinated—instead, their individual style codes simply meet somewhere in the middle. Hailey remains polished and pared-back, while Justin keeps things supersized and relaxed, adding a wacky accessory here and there. It’s in their most casual clothes that the overlap becomes clearest.

Churchome itself is familiar territory for the couple. They have a long-standing relationship with its pastor Judah Smith, who officiated their 2019 wedding and later baptized the pair. The church has long attracted a celebrity congregation, with everyone from Ciara and Russell Wilson to Selena Gomez and Lana Del Rey connected.
It has given Hailey Bieber plenty of opportunities to stretch the traditional definition of Sunday best. Last year, she attended a service in a fuzzy sleeveless turtleneck, black trousers, glove-like flats, and skinny sunglasses; previous trips have involved everything from crop tops to particularly low-slung pants. It is, after all, not exactly a “regular” church. Call it a “cool” church—with a dress code to match.
