A storm rolling through had the to-be-weds and their planning team shift the location for the welcome party later that evening. However, design plans seamlessly transitioned into a tent set up on the grounds walled garden. Says the groom: “Looking back, we were probably a little naïve to think we were going to get perfect weather all weekend, but it wouldn’t have been a traditional Irish wedding without a little rain!” Under the tent, a traditional Irish band brought energy to the scene. “Once everyone was on the dance floor attempting the Irish jig, we surprised our guests with a performance by Cairde, a contemporary Irish dance troupe that has gone viral on TikTok,” says the bride.
The morning of the wedding, the bride’s father hosted a golf tournament on Adare Manor’s championship course while the bride and her wedding party got ready. When the bride and groom connected ahead of the ceremony for a first look, the true purpose of the day came into picture. “The moment I saw her, every thought fell away and she was all I could see,” says Noah. “We exchanged our private vows and from that moment the rest of the wedding weekend felt so easy and light.”
The couple decided to hold a religious ceremony at Holy Trinity Abbey Church. “During one of our visits to Adare Manor, we met the local monsignor and immediately felt at home,” says the groom. The bride says walking down the aisle of the white floral-adorned church with her father is one she will always cherish. “Looking up and seeing Noah made me realize how truly lucky I am,” she reflects. The groom remembers of the moment, “She looked like an angel personified.”
After the ceremony, the newlyweds sped off in a vintage Beauford back to Adare Manor. Cocktail hour was held in the formal gardens, where guests mixed and mingled in the beautiful weather. Dinner and dancing was held in the grand ballroom, which was transformed with florals, drapery, and a custom illustrated dance floor. When the bride and groom made their grand entrance, they shared their first dance “Forever After All” by Luke Combs. Then, Lauren and her father danced to “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and Noah danced with his mom to “House at Pooh Corner” by Loggins and Messina.
