Last week, the final shows in Paris wrapped up an eventful Fashion Month—but the exciting fashions hardly ended there. In fact, on red carpets around the globe, A-listers kept up the momentum all week long, choosing architectural designs with textural, high-impact finishes.
In London, for instance, Amal Clooney hosted the 2026 Albies in a slinky, sequined Gucci column gown that shimmered from silver into gold. For the same event, Myha’la slipped into a white lace slip dress from Fendi—its plunging sweetheart neckline and sheer paneling making it feel fresh. There were loads of other striking red carpet moments in London, too, Florence Pugh’s corseted Wiederhoeft gown and Scarlett Johansson’s red-hot custom Prada dress being two prime examples.
In New York City, Emma D’Arcy delivered one of the week’s chicest suiting moments, looking to Jil Sander for a well-cut black jacket and trousers with a draped white shirt. But if we’re talking about fresh alternatives to a classic gown, no one embraced that spirit better than Zendaya at the Louis Vuitton spring 2027 show in Paris: The star rewore a white ruffled Vuitton cape that first appeared during her press tour for The Odyssey, pairing it with an easy tank and jeans. Recycling a red carpet piece has never looked so chic.
