When it comes to her striking red carpet looks, Hunter Schafer is often a Prada girl, through and through. But for her latest press tour—to promote her upcoming sci-fi series Blade Runner 2099—the star is switching things up. Yesterday, Schafer attended the WIRED World Fair in Miami, and she chose an upcycled look by one of fashion’s most intriguing up-and-comers.
Styled by Dara Allen, Schafer sported a neon-bright design from NIHL’s recent spring 2027 collection. Designer Neil Grotzinger, who is based in New York, is known for repurposing thrifted clothes into colorful, crystal-covered creations—and his look for Schafer was no different. The star sported his lime-green hoodie that was covered in crystallized flowers, and she paired it with a pink and white striped skirt—a thrifted dress slashed into a skirt!—that was also bejeweled.
